Had a fun city break! The location is perfect, with a tram stop right outside and bus stops just a short walk away, making it easy to explore. The indoor pool was a highlight; it was relaxing and a great way to unwind after a busy day.
The mattress in our room was way too firm for our liking, leaving us a bit sore. we found some cleanliness issues at breakfast; the glasses could use a thorough wash. Lastly, we didn’t realize our room was in an annexe, which made things a bit inconvenient for accessing room service. a solid stay with a few minor hiccups!

During my recent stay at doric, I found the hotel to be beautiful, clean, and welcoming. the staff were attentive, making sure our experience was enjoyable at every turn. the entertainment over the new year was fantastic, even appealing to my 15-year-old daughter. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast, which had an impressive selection, especially the kippers. the room was comfortable and well-appointed, making for a relaxing stay.
Nothing major 😕, just limited lift service.

We had a lovely stay at the doric. the food at our group meal was really good, making it one of the best christmas dinners we've ever had. the service stood out, especially from staff members like louise and michelle, who were friendly and attentive. the rooms were clean and the facilities included a great pool. the quick access to a tram stop right outside made it easy for us to explore the area.

Very very good overall experience. Lots of delicious food for meals. Comfy bed in double room with iron/ironing board, a work desk and a TV set. Very good service from the amicable, pleasant staff members. Marvellous location on board the coach, excellent pool. Really close to Blackpool, centre.

The doric is just far enough away from the hussle and bussle of the Blackpool crowd. But near enough to jump on a tram and enjoy the beach and pier entertainment and then retreat again to the nice relaxing atmospher

Great location near the tram stop and friendly staff who helped with our taxi. The breakfast was delicious, though a bit chaotic, and the cabaret in the evening was a fun bonus. Just wish the room had better temperature control and a bit more upkeep. A pleasant stay!

Positive Review of Doric Hotel, Blackpool
I must say, the warm hospitality and service made an impression on me. The welcoming entrance and bar area have recently been refurbished, enhancing the overall experience. The indoor pool area, equipped with a sauna and steam room, provided a nice retreat after a long day of meetings. Although I didn't have the chance to enjoy the full entertainment program during my stay, I noticed the hotel offers a year-round schedule featuring various shows that would surely delight families. The friendly staff, including the proactive employees who ensured everything ran smoothly, really made my experience enjoyable.
Old-fashioned corridors and tired stairways.
